Located in the region of Murcia is Los Alcázares, an area with 7 km of beach named after the ancient palaces of the Middle Ages. With a microclimate and an average temperature of 18º we can say that it is one of the ideal places for tourism without crowds. In addition, its beaches are rich in salts and iodine, making them medicinal waters. But if there is one thing we can boast in Los Alcázares, it is sustainable growth, without crowds and with a quiet pace of life.

Tourism and leisure within everyone’s reach

Discover our bike routes and our tourist train to visit the most urban and cultural places. If you prefer to stay on the beach, we offer free boat trips (www.turismo.losalcazares.es)or we invite you to visit the Hita beach, an old salt mine with a great observatory for bird watching. And don’t forget to visit our weekly markets and shopping centres. The leisure areas where you can enjoy musical performances and street theatres and see the craft markets that are displayed at night along our promenade. And if you are more of a golfer, Los Alcázares also has the Serena golf course with wide, undulating greens.

Murcia’s gastronomy is famous for its market garden, rich in vegetables, but also specialists in salted fish such as Mojama, tuna and prawns from the Mar Menor. Our tapas routes or our special local rice dishes will make you enjoy your holidays with your partner or family with dishes to suit all tastes. And you can’t leave without trying our most typical dish: the caldero.

Get to know our coasts

You will find up to 7 different beaches in the Los Alcázares area. Las Palmeras beach, located just a few metres from the hotel, has a promenade, sun loungers, disabled access walkway, lifeguard post and beach bars. Right next to our hotel, the Infanta Cristina High Performance Centre allows you to enjoy a multitude of water sports. Los Alcázares beach, located 350 metres from our hotel (4 minutes on foot), will allow you to relax and enjoy the sun, sand and tranquillity. Los Narejos beach is 800 metres from our hotel, a 10 minute walk or a 10 minute drive to get there and enjoy the fine sand. You can reach all of them while enjoying a pleasant walk along the promenade between the two towns.
